नई दिल्ली: पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने उत्तर प्रदेश के कुशीनगर में परिवर्तन यात्रा के नाम से चुनावी रैली को संबोधित किया. उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य में लोगों को काफी दिक्कत हो रही थी. पीएम मोदी ने कहा, भ्रष्टाचार ने देश को बरबाद कर दिया और इससे देश के बचाना है.

नोटबंदी पर पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा, जो बड़े हैं उन्हें बड़ी तकलीफ होगी. जो लोग छोटे हैं, उन्हें छोटी-छोटी तकलीफ होगी. पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि जनता की भलाई के लिए ऐसा कठोर फैसला लिया गया है. इसे लागू करना भी सरल नहीं है.  उन्होंने कहा कि 50 दिन तकलीफ होगी. अभी 20 दिन हुए हैं, अभी 30 दिन बाकी है और सरकार आपकी तकलीफ दूर करने का पूरा प्रयास कर रही है.

पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि लोगों को तकनीक धीरे-धीरे अपने आप आ गई. चाहे वो मोबाइल रिचार्ज करना हो, सोशल मीडिाय का प्रयोग करना हो. ऐसे ही जल्द ही कैश ट्रांसफर करना भी लोगों को आ जाएगा. इसी आसानी से बैंक में अगर खाता है, आप कुछ भी खरीद सकते हो. पीएम ने कहा, आपकी हथेली में बैंक है. बटुए की जरूरत नहीं, मोबाइल में पैसे होते हैं. पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि देश में आधे से ज्यादा लोग ऑनलाइन टिकट खरीद रहे हैं.

पीएम मोदी ने लोगों से आग्रह किया कि कालाधन वालों को सफल नहीं होने देना है. वे लोग चाहते हैं कि यह मुहिम विफल हो जाए. लेकिन देशवासियों ने साथ दिया है. देश में कालाधन अब पैदा होने की हिम्मत नहीं करेगा. अब नोटों के बंडल किसी को बिस्तर के नीचे छिपाने की नौबत नहीं आएगी.

पीएम मोदी ने विपक्ष पर हमला करते हुए कहा कि हम भ्रष्टाचार और कालाधन बंद करने में लगे हैं और कुछ लोग भारत बंद करने में लगे हैं. पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि 70 साल से जो लूटा है, उसे निकालना है और गरीब का घर बनाना है. जो लूटा है उसे वापस लेना है, बिजली का कनेक्शन देना है, बच्चों की शिक्षा की व्यवस्था करनी है और गरीबों के इलाज की व्यवस्था करनी है.

पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि अब हम देश को लुटने नहीं देंगे. देश में कालाधन और भ्रष्टाचार का खात्मा संभव है. देश सही दिशा में आगे बढ़ेगा. उन्होंने कहा कि देश ईमानदारी के महायज्ञ में कष्ट झेलकर आहूति देते देख रहा हूं. पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि देश का भविष्य उज्ज्वल है.
पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि जागरुक लोग अन्य लोगों को सिखाएं कि कैसे बिना पैसे कारोबार चलता है. पूरी दुनिया आगे निकल गई है, हम पीछे रह गए हैं. लेकिन अब हिंदुस्तान पीछे नहीं रहेगा.

पीएम मोदी ने कहा, राज्य पैकेज के लिए आगे आते हैं. यूपी भी आया, चीनी मिल के लोग मेरे पास आए. पैकेज मांगा. पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि चीनी मिल से किसानों के नाम मांगें जिनका बकाया था. चीनी मिल वाले नहीं दे पाए. लेकिन सरकार ने कदम उठाया और गन्ना किसानों के खाते में सीधा पैसा देने के लिए प्रयास किया गया. बिचौलियों को बाहर करने का प्रयास किया है. पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि दिल्ली की सरकार गरीबों को समर्पित है.

पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि राज्य के पूर्व इलाके में अच्छी इलाज की व्यवस्था नहीं, इसलिए गोरखपुर में एम्स को बनाया जाएगा.

यूरिया के मामले पर किसानों की बात करते हुए पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा कि किसानों के लिए यूरिया उपलब्ध कराने की चिंता पहले किसी भी सरकार ने नहीं की. लेकिन, अब किसानों को इसकी चिंता नहीं रहती. यूरिया के लिए लाइन खत्म हो गई. हमने इस समस्या का समाधान किया. किसानों को लिए सॉयल कार्ड बनाया है. ताकि उनकी जमीन का परीक्षण किया जा सके और उसके हिसाब से किसानी की जाए.

पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि किसान कितनी भी मेहनत करे, लेकिन प्राकृतिक आपदा के मौके पर किसान कुछ नहीं कर पाता. किसान की रक्षा करने के लिए प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना सरकार लेकर आई है. इसमें किसान को बहुत कम पैसा देना है. बाकी पैसा भारत सरकार देगी. किसान को फसल के नुकसान पर पूरा पैसा मिलेगा.

बता दें कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की यूपी में ये तीसरी रैली है. इससे पहले वे आगरा और गाज़ीपुर में भी परिवर्तन यात्रा को संबोधित कर चुके हैं. इस मौके पर पर कई केंद्रीय मंत्री और बीजेपी के नेता भी मौजूद थे. प्रधानमंत्री की सुरक्षा के कड़े इंतज़ाम किए गए हैं. इस दौरान प्रधानमंत्री पहली एयर कंडिशन्ड हमसफ़र ट्रेन को भी हरी झंडी दिखाई जो गोरखपुर से दिल्ली तक चलेगी.

Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ Moves To 2017; Clash Avoided With Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly moved his planned summer release Raees to January 2017. The step-off of the mega-lucrative July Eid holiday comes at a time when SRK’s latest film underperformed at the box office compared to his roster of major hits. But, most importantly, it sees him avoid a potentially calamitous clash with sometime pal/sometime rival Salman Khan who has Sultandebuting July 6 day-and-date in 30 markets.There was already speculation last summer that either Khan would ultimately blink in the run-up to Eid. But SRK at the time told a Mumbai press conference that the dueling films didn’t represent a clash. “There are only 365 days, 54 Fridays. We make 200 films, it’s bound to happen that some films will release on the same Friday and most of the people involved in both these films are friends,” he said at the time. Now, however, a decision has been made to push crime drama Raees to January 26, 2017.

Per local media, SRK along with producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar released a statement saying, “It was not an easy decision to move the film. We understand that Raees is highly anticipated. However, a film of such magnitude requires the appropriate showcasing and therefore, we have decided to shift our release date to 26th January 2017.”

SRK, arguably the biggest global star coming out of Bollywood, has had a couple of hiccups in the past year. His Christmas release, Dilwale, was considered something of an underperformer, bowing to $9.8M at home in December for only his 5th highest opening ever in India. It was hobbled to some extent by competing pic, Bajirao Mastani, starring Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone. The result may have been a harbinger of today’s decision. But Dilwale also released in India a week ahead ofStar Wars: The Force Awakens which was already in play pretty much everywhere else. It ultimately netted about $22M in India, landing it at No. 5 amongst all Indian films for the year, and grossed another $4.9M in the U.S. Still, SRK has three of the Top 10 highest-grossing Hindi films ever worldwide and Dilwale is amongst them.

More recently, Fan, which marked a departure for the icon — and in which he played dual roles — released April 15 and has taken about $12.5M in India. While it’s the No. 3 film of the year, it may have difficulty breaking the coveted 100 crore barrier and is vastly behind The Jungle Book ($34.4M) at No. 1 and Airlift ($19.3M) at No. 2. It has, however, taken in more than $10M overseas.

Powerhouse Yash Raj Films released Fan and is also handling Salman Khan’s Sultan. He has traditionally owned the Eid holiday, although he sat it out in 2013, when SRK stepped in with then record-breaker Chennai Express. Khan’s recent films, Bajrangi Bhaijaan ($48.15M) and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo ($31.6M), were massive hits at home with the No. 1 and 2 slots on the 2015 Bollywood chart. Last year notably saw the star acquitted in a hit-and-run case that had been making its way through the courts since 2002 and led to much hand-wringing within the industry which relies heavily on its major stars.

If nothing else, this is a hint that what we’ve seen of Psylocke in the trailers—fighting, fighting, and more fighting—is all we’re going to get of her.

ACtress Kerry Washington, known for her role in Scandal, took home a shiny little pudding pot on Thursday, after being feted with a raucous parade through Harvard Square and a roast by Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Theatricals.

America's oldest collegiate theatrical organization says it named Washington as 'Woman of the Year' because she's the first black woman to headline a network TV drama since 1974. In a statement, the troupe called her a "talented and socially engaged film, TV and stage actress, who keeps breaking barriers in Hollywood."

Washington told a US-based TV channel that she was "crazy honoured" to join the esteemed list of women who have been honoured by the group, which includes Meryl Streep, Katharine Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor. Comedian Amy Poehler won the award last year.

Keeping with tradition, Washington made her way to the theatre in style, riding in the back of a convertible flanked by actors in colourful drag. She even threw pie and wine at an actor dressed like Donald Trump and did a throaty rendition of Tina Turner's 'What's Love Got To Do With It' while she was on stage with the actors. Admitting that she was nervous about the roast, her first, the 38-year old actress told the channel, "It's surreal. I mean, it's so crazy."

W DELHI/HYDERABAD: The BJP said on Saturday that Rahul Gandhi's second visit to Hyderabad Central University, to support the agitation over a Dalit scholar's suicide, is an attempt "to buy political brownie points by playing politics over dead bodies".

"Rahul Gandhi should start working in a positive way rather than playing politics on dead bodies. He is trying to shun his own responsibility," BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said.

Rohith Vemula, the dalit scholar, was found hanging inside a hostel room in the university on January 17.

"When a judicial process is on, why does Rahul Gandhi have to act as a judge? Rather than politicizing the issue, Rahul should have shown sensitivity. This is not a dalit vs non-dalit issue. This is a classic example of how Rahul is trying to earn a few political brownie points to further his political career, which isn't taking off," Patra said.

Patra also accused Rahul of being selective in his support. "Everyone knows what the condition in Malda is, has Rahul Gandhi ever visited Malda," he asked, referring to recent incidents of communal violence in the West Bengal district.

The minister said Gandhi's visits to Hyderabad remind him of the "Kalavathi incident" of 2008. Patra said it "was simply a photo-op and the plight of that widowed woman has only worsened" since then.

Union minister Venkaiah Naidu said Rahul Gandhi's protest is a part of the Congress's anti-Modi campaign.

"All this is cheap politics. They are shedding crocodile tears to gain political mileage, polluting atmosphere of universities," Naidu said.

Earlier in the day, Rahul Gandhi commenced a day-long hunger strike along with agitating students of Hyderabad Central University.

The Congress vice-president spent about two hours after midnight with agitating students and also participated in a candlelight vigil along with 2,000 students to mark the birthday of Rohith, who would have turned 27 today.

Rahul returned to the protest site this morning to begin the hunger strike and express solidarity with the students.

Rahul, who is visiting the campus for the second time in as many weeks, tweeted, "I am here today at the request of Rohith's friends and family, to stand with them in their fight for justice.

"A young life full of dreams and aspirations was cut short. We owe it to him, to the memory of (Mahatma) Gandhiji and to every single Indian student who dreams of an India free from prejudice and injustice," he said in another tweet.

Rohith's mother Radhika and brother Raju were also present at the protest site.

In the meanwhile, the recently appointed interim vice-chancellor Vipin Srivastava went on indefinite leave, days after the university vice chancellor did the same.

"The former interim VC has gone on indefinite leave to care for his ailing mother. All of us have parents who are old and we need to tend to their needs," M Periasamy (head of the Chemistry department), the new interim head of the university told reporters.
